Recap of HLC’s 2023 Webinars

The Healthcare Leadership Council hosted 10 webinars in 2023 on various healthcare topics prioritized by its members. Panelists representing the breadth of the healthcare industry showcased private sector innovation, common hurdles, and analyzed legislation and regulations in play which would affect the delivery of care. Additionally, HLC hosted an in-person Hill briefing on artificial intelligence, and is planning on more in-person events for 2024.

• Redefining American Healthcare: The Boots on the Ground
  A panel of recent recipients of the Healthcare Leadership Council’s Redefining American Healthcare Award, which was created to draw attention to community initiatives that improve healthcare delivery, highlighted how their work has helped change the lives of underserved populations and might provide insight for federal policy making. They also addressed barriers faced and recommendations for a better future.

• Supply Chain Readiness: Where Are We Now?
  Supply chain experts discussed the logistics of the supply chain and the challenges experienced in ensuring timely delivery of medicine and medical supplies to providers and patients. They highlighted how innovations and partnerships have played a role in strengthening supply chain resilience, and what more must be done to build upon recent advances.
