Corey Miller

Associate Vice President of Government Affairs

Corey Miller serves as Associate Vice President of Government Affairs at the Healthcare Leadership Council (HLC), the leading healthcare industry association representing all segments of American healthcare. In this role, Mr. Miller tracks legislative and regulatory developments for the organization’s priorities. Miller also leads HLC’s health equity workgroup, which is focused on advancing maternal health, improving social determinants of health, increasing virtual access, as well as diversifying the healthcare workforce and clinical trials.

Prior to joining HLC, Miller worked in the United States Senate for Senator Jerry Moran (R-KS), serving as his health legislative aide, meeting with various federal agencies, constituents, and other stakeholders and advising on healthcare initiatives and policy matters. Previously, Miller’s public-sector service included working at the National Institutes of Health as a Research Fellow in the Social and Behavioral Research Branch of the National Human Genome Research Institute.

Before moving to Washington, D.C., Mr. Miller worked as a Project Coordinator in the Department of Nutrition at Kansas State University on a multi-million-dollar grant funded by the United States Department of Agriculture.

Mr. Miller is a member of the Society of Health Policy Young Professionals, Healthcare Workforce Coalition, and the Partnership to Fight Chronic Disease. He received a bachelor’s degree in social science and a master’s degree in public health from Kansas State University.
